Paving the Way: Upper Arlington Hardscape Overhaul

This Upper Arlington home had a natural flagstone patio area in the backyard that was too small and too uneven to be functional. 

The new design expanded the usable space and created a paver surface that is much friendlier for the patio dining furniture, fire pit, and walking! 

A new path provides mud-free access to the garage and creates the boundary for ornamental landscape plantings that provide interest while enjoying the paver patio space. 

A slightly elevated paver area off the driveway provides a place for waste containers as well as a spot for the parents place some chairs to watch their children play basketball in the driveway.
